Long Overdue Update!

A long overdue update on the situation for David & Collet! They finished a week of pre-trial last week, with one more day in court to be completed later this month. With a media ban, there isn't much to be said, however, we know they continue to need our support!

A Go Fund Me site has been set up where you can donate any amount you choose. The PayPal account is still active, if you prefer that option. 

David & Collet are looking at very large legal costs to endure not only the pre-trial, but also the actual trial. David has written a very nice letter on the GoFundMe page, please take a moment to read it.

This loving family doesn't deserve this. They have suffered so much already. And the hole in their hearts that little Ezekiel used to fill will never be the same.

Last Call for Letters of Support!

The countdown is on and David & Collet are counting on you! If you haven't sent in your letter of support already, please do so as soon as possible! Their first court date is set for 23rd May, in only a few weeks. They are trying to collect as many letters as possible to give to their lawyers with the hope that it will assist in having the charges dropped. 

David & Collet have suffered enough. They should be left to live in peace & continue to dote & shower love upon their remaining children. Your assistance can help this happen.

Stand For Truth FUNdraiser Success Story!

A massive THANK YOU to all who attended the Spring Carnival FUNdraiser, whether you were helping out with event, participating in some of the fun activities or just to show your support! THANK YOU!

A total of $6510 was raised to help David & Collet with the legal costs! That is fantastic! No, that is beyond fantastic! With the money you so generously gave, they have been able to pay the retainer necessary to get started with their lawyers. Thank you again!

Without a doubt, a great time was had by all! It was evident on the faces of the children running from bouncy castle to boot camp, to painted faces and cotton candy kissed smiles! It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon, regardless of your age!

A HUGE thank you to those of you who donated items for the silent auction and food items - all of which were delicious! And most of all, thank you to those of you who gave of your time and energy. The FUNdraiser wouldn't have been the success it was without you!

The next thing coming up is the Court Hearing on the 23rd of May. David & Collet need your prayers, well wishes and positive thoughts regarding this event. Enough gratitude can not be expressed for all of your support. David & Collet just yesterday marked the 13th month since Ezekiel's passing. The loss they deal with on a daily basis is unfathomable for most of us - either as a parent or not. Those of us who know David & Collet personally share in their sorrow. Not only for the loss of little Ezekiel, but also for the nightmare they are forced to deal with due to the outrageous charges.

It's Going To Be A BLAST!

For those of you planning on attending the fundraiser, get excited! We are thrilled to give you a sneak peek of what you'll find there! And best of all, it's meant for kids of all ages! Yes, that means adults too! 

What you're looking at is a Mini Boot Camp obstacle course, Bouncy Castle with slide, and King of the Hill which accommodates all ages! If you were on the fence about showing up on Saturday, certainly this will seal the deal! We'll see you there!

Here it is! All the details on the FUNdraiser! Spread the word and we hope to see you there!

23rd March from 1-5 p.m. at the Tom Karren Gym in Magrath, AB. 

We're going to have plenty of fun for big and little kids! 

There will be a bouncy castle with a slide from 1-4 p.m., along with an obstacle course. There will be face painting and balloons, a silent auction and concessions as well. 

From 4-4:30 p.m. there will be live entertainment and afterwards there will be a soccer game from 4:30-5 p.m. 

It's going to be a blast!

Admission is $10 pp, but children 5 & under can come for free! What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon and what a wonderful cause to support!
